Marisol built this course after noticing she could no longer walk into a supermarket without narrating it. Before Slop University she spent four years mapping retail floor plans for a design consultancy, work she now describes as “helping build the thing I teach you to resist.” She still has the security incident reports.
Office hours run before the Tuesday session, in the corridor outside it, on the basis that a course about built space shouldn’t be taught from behind a desk.
