Weekly studio hours are for course-level questions; use the session itself for feedback on work in progress.

Marisol trained in expanded sculpture and spent a decade making work that moved — kinetic pieces, motorised installations, a few pieces of furniture that were not supposed to walk but did. Code entered the practice as a tool for driving motors, not as a subject in its own right, and that is the crossing Round Trip is built to shorten for the next student who has to make it.

She teaches the opening digitizing weeks and the complex-physical-media unit at the end of semester, and convenes the final crit.

Office is in the Invented Disciplines building, third floor. Studio hours are posted on the sessions page each week; email is for anything that cannot wait until the next one. If a question is about a specific brief rather than the course as a whole, ask the tutor running that week’s session first — Marisol picks up anything that needs the convenor’s call.
