Week 9 Lobby Lab: Cross the map unseen
One group wards a route, the other tries to walk it without being seen, then they swap and review the vision together
6 May 2027
What to bring#
Nothing.
How it runs#
Two groups. The defenders get a fixed number of wards and place them; the attackers start from their base and try to reach a named point without being seen. Then swap.
The tutor sets the number of wards on the day. Record the run, and review the defenders’ vision together afterwards.
How you know it went well#
On defence you can give a purpose for each ward. On attack you can say which one you beat and which one caught you, and that is the same knowledge from the other side.
The spec
What the tutor is checking for by the end of the session — not that you understood the drill, but that you did it, in a form somebody else in the room could confirm.
- you played both attack and defence
- on defence, you can say what each ward was for — not "this is where people put them"
- on attack, you can say how you went around a ward or walked into one
