This course teaches with thirteen heroes and no more. Dota has well over a hundred, and a beginner course that tours them learns a hundred names and no decisions; a fixed pool means you meet the same faces from week to week and each reappearance is a comparison rather than an introduction. Each week teaches at most two abilities, always the ones that answer that week’s decision — the full kit is on the official page, linked below, because reproducing it here would turn a course into an encyclopaedia and Assignment 3 is where you write the encyclopaedia entry yourself.
