Week 8 Lobby Lab: Hold the stun
A five-versus-five where every control spell must be called out loud before it is used — and once called, used
29 April 2027
What to bring#
A hero with a hard control spell.
How it runs#
Five versus five, because five is this course’s unit and Assignment 4 is played that way. One rule: before you use a control spell you must call it out loud, and having called it you must use it.
Afterwards, count two things: how many calls you regretted, and how many times you did not call but afterwards thought you should have. The second number is the one this week is about.
How you know it went well#
You have both numbers, and at least one specific story about a call that was wrong and why.
Assignment 2 is due at noon tomorrow.
The spec
What the tutor is checking for by the end of the session — not that you understood the drill, but that you did it, in a form somebody else in the room could confirm.
- you called your intent before every control spell
- at least once you called it, saw the timing was wrong, and can say what was wrong
- you can describe one time you held it and were right to
