Week 3 Lobby Lab: Hold the line
A one-versus-one solo lane where the win condition is not kills but which side of the lane the wave ends up on
11 March 2027
What to bring#
The hero you used in week 2. Familiarity is the point — this session is about the lane, not about learning a kit.
How it runs#
A one-versus-one solo lane in a custom lobby. The win condition is not kills. It is which side of the lane the wave is sitting on at the end. Two rounds, swapping sides, because the safe lane and the off lane are not the same job.
The tutor sets the round length at the start.
How you know it went well#
You can point at the moment it got away from you. Everyone loses the wave at some point in a round; the difference is whether you noticed at the time or afterwards.
The spec
What the tutor is checking for by the end of the session — not that you understood the drill, but that you did it, in a form somebody else in the room could confirm.
- you played both sides of the lane
- you deliberately let a last hit go in one round, and can say why
- you can name the moment the wave got away from you
