Self-review#
I worked on the onboarding portal backend with Kenji and on the ledger rewrite with Hannah. I was on call for the three incidents in February and March and helped fix them. I also reviewed code when asked.
Peer feedback#
From Hannah Byrne, nominated by Tom. Tom was on the call all three times, and on the second one he was the person who found the fault while the rest of us were still reading dashboards. He does not say much in meetings. He does not need to; the work speaks, if anyone is listening to it. The ledger rewrite was half his.
From Marcus Bell, assigned. Tom is quiet. I have not worked with him directly this quarter and could not tell you what he was on. Seems dependable.
What the last manager left#
- Fixed the thing in February. Details fuzzy, it was late.
- Does not speak in standup. Have raised it once.
- Kenji says he is the one you message when it is on fire.
The announcement#
None this quarter. The ledger rewrite was announced by Hannah in March; Tom is thanked in the second paragraph.
Where they sit#
Reports to your line. On the incident rota, first responder in February and March. Owns nothing on paper. Almost all of his messages are direct; the incident channels show his name only in the post-mortems, which Hannah wrote.
