Self-review

This quarter I closed 212 tickets, 3.4 times the team median, and merged 44 pull requests, delivering consistent throughput across the payments surface. I adopted a decomposition approach, breaking deliverables into their smallest shippable increments and tracking each independently, which gave stakeholders continuous visibility of progress and kept the board green. Highlights include the config migration (38 tickets), the linting cleanup (51 tickets) and the API naming alignment (29 tickets). I intend to bring the same execution discipline to the reporting work next quarter.

Peer feedback

From Ravi Menon, nominated by Lena. The board is always green when Lena is on it. You never have to wonder where her work is; it is done and closed. She is the most productive person on the team by any measure I can see.

From Grace Adeyemi, assigned. Lena’s tickets are small. I reviewed most of her 44 pull requests and a large share of them rename one variable or move one file. That is fine work, but 212 tickets is not 212 pieces of work, and reviewing them cost me more of my quarter than my own tickets did. I could not tell you what shipped to a user as a result.

None this quarter.

Where they sit

Reports to your line. Pairs with Ravi. Grace reviews most of her code. Not on the incident rota.
