Week 4 Tutorial: Automate Science Packs

Fully automate red or green science packs end to end, from raw ore to a working lab feed, without starving or overflowing.

Before the tutorial#

Bring last week’s save, with a bus or equivalent supply of iron and copper plate already running. Check your assembler ratios in the factory simulator before building the line for real.

In the tutorial#

Work out the ratio of assemblers needed at each step of your chosen science pack’s chain, build it, and run it long enough to confirm nothing starves or backs up.

Afterwards#
