Final Audit: Full Model Application

A capstone audit applying all ten variables from the semester to one case, judged as a whole rather than criterion by criterion

Due: 10 May 2027 · Weight: 40%

The brief

Apply the full model — all ten variables — to one case, and show that the reading composes into a single coherent account.

This is where the semester’s claim gets tested directly: not that any one variable is insightful on its own, but that the ten compose into something more useful than a folk-vocabulary read of the same case would give you. The case can be the one you’ve carried since week 1, or a different one if that case has resolved or lost momentum — either way, it needs enough history behind it for all ten variables to have something to say.

Realistic scope: this is a single case read carefully, not a comparative study. A final audit that tries to cover three cases in the space meant for one case’s full model application is the most common way this assignment overruns its brief.

What you submit

A single PDF, 2000–2800 words, working through the ten variables in the order the course introduced them, plus a closing stop-loss condition and Black Swan Protocol step for the case. Because this is holistically marked, there’s no per-criterion breakdown to hit — a reading that’s thin on one variable but exceptionally clear on how the others interact can still mark well, provided the omission is acknowledged rather than silently skipped.

The spec

The brief poses the problem and leaves room for a response. The spec is the fixed part: what a marker checks. Some lines can be checked mechanically; the rest call for judgement.

How it is marked

The final audit is judged as a whole against the brief — whether every variable from the semester is applied, correctly and specifically, whether the reading composes into one coherent account of the case rather than ten disconnected observations, and whether the result stands on its own without the writer present to explain it. A stop-loss condition and a Black Swan Protocol step are both expected; their absence, without a stated reason, is treated as a gap.
