Who we are, what we do

ANU Basketball Club — known to most people as the Owls — has been running since 2016 and is one of the biggest basketball clubs in the ACT. We're part of the ANU Sport & Recreation Association, open to any ANU student regardless of experience.

What we run

• Premier League teams — competitive teams playing in organised competition for players who want a serious season.
• Social competitions — lower-pressure games for people who just want to play regularly with friends.
• Weekly open courts — turn up, no team required.
• Unigames team — represents ANU at the national university games.

Outside of games, the club runs a social calendar — trivia nights, bar crawls, 3x3 days — so you don't have to already know people to feel part of it.

Times, locations and fees for each program are on the Programs & Schedule page.
