Music Programmes
Something for every learner, at every level
From a first singing lesson at five years old to ABRSM and LCM examinations, private tuition and academic music support — our programmes meet students where they are.
Voice
An 8-week Introduction to Singing for ages 5 and up, and our flagship Comprehensive Musicianship Programme (CMP, ages 5–17) preparing students for ABRSM, LCM and RSL examinations, with private lessons and Harmony Chorus auditions along the way.
Piano
Designed for students building basic piano skills as well as those expanding on existing ability. Students work with their teacher to master technique and nuance, and build repertoire across styles and grades.
- Ivy Maben Piano Prize: a year of free lessons for one student at Grade 5+ (or equivalent)
Guitar
A full range of skill-building for all ages and abilities. Essential guitar and music techniques, from beginner to advanced, are introduced based on each student's progress — classes are fun, supportive and stimulating, with regular performance opportunities across styles.
Drums
For beginner and advanced students alike, combining ear training with a theoretical approach. Students explore improvisation, composition and rudimental studies, applying them creatively through drum techniques, grooves and styles.
Violin
Builds musicianship and aural awareness from the very first lesson — including the honest challenge of learning to play in tune. Students build a solid technical foundation, expand their repertoire and learn to read notes and rhythm with confidence.
Music Theory
Decode music theory for four-part writing, composing and song-writing, or to improve notation and interpretation on your instrument. Theory is built into our CMP singing programme and into piano and drum lessons, with optional standalone lessons and ABRSM Music Theory exams available.
IGCSE / AS & A Level / ICSE
Guided sessions on listening, performing, composing and musical styles for students pursuing Academic Music at mainstream schools. Harmony students topped India in the IGCSE and A Level examinations for 2021.
Scholarships across every instrument
The Dorothy Priscilla Music Scholarship Award is open to students of any instrument — both current Harmony students and outside applicants who can show evidence of need or merit.
