About Narrabundah College

Narrabundah College is a public senior secondary college for Years 11 and 12, led by Principal Megan Altenburg. Around 1,000 students study here each year, drawn from across Canberra's public and private schools, and from international students representing more than 60 countries.

Three credentials, side by side

Most students graduate with the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate. What sets the college apart is that it also runs two full parallel programs on top of that: the International Baccalaureate, as Australia's first authorised IB World School, and the French Baccalauréat, continuing the Lycée Franco-Australien pathway from Telopea Park School.

A college that leans into maths and languages

Roughly a third of students take a top-level maths subject, and roughly a third study an additional language beyond English — both well above what's typical for a college this size.
