What's on
We organise regular academic and social events, and events with industry sponsors. Here is what we run across the year.
Regular events
Epic Games Night (EGN)
Our recurring games night, often with other clubs joining in. Dinner will be provided. You can register for the event at the door. Tickets are free.
Final exam study events
A great collaborative study and discussion environment, with course tutors there to help you. All events have free food!
Badger & Co Social Night
Meet and socialise with other CSSA members, and de-stress over food and drink.
Installfest
A hands-on session to get your laptop set up with Linux and the tooling you need for your courses.
Careers Fair
Meet our industry sponsors and explore where a computing degree can take you.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM, where members hear how the club is going and elect the next committee.
Techfest
A student-led tech festival celebrating Computer Science and Cybersecurity. Three days of computing, cyber, and community: a 48-hour capture-the-flag competition, a day of Tech Talks with industry speakers, free BBQs, and a movie night, with a networking and drinks night to cap it all off. Every event is free for students.
Stay in the loop
Event announcements go out on our Discord. A full calendar and archive lives on the current CSSA site ↗.
