Win&Lose

Game Trilogy, finale

"Win&Lose" closes the Game Trilogy, released at the end of 2022 — the band's first full-length album since 2015. Its twelve tracks, including "Wuhan" and "Human Lost," were produced by all four members; the artwork continues the illustration style Space has provided for the band's releases.

The album's own "You Win" / "You Lose" pair mark its two halves, opening onto tracks like "Dinosaurs Went Extinct in the End" and "Vegetative Man," and two songs running past seven minutes, "Wuhan" and "Good Bye." Its liner note, written by Xu Bo, reflects on years of effort that never quite arrived at recognition — he describes learning to accept being cast as a loser, while still picturing an alternate ending where he becomes someone more powerful and the band becomes a Chinese rock band people remember. It was released by Wild Records, with a Japanese CD edition, a Chinese double-CD edition and two vinyl pressings alongside the digital album.
