The BEAST

the kawasaki ninja zxr, side on, parked in the driveway

Now the manual said THIS went HERE .?.?.

me crouched by the bike with the manual open, working out where a fairing panel actually goes

Just take the photo will you!

me and the finished bike, fairings back on and sitting right this time

new bike stuff

out on a ride, RIDE118 out on a ride, RIDE115 out on a ride, RIDE117

Whichever disk these were backed up to didn't make it to now. The captions didn't say much more than the filenames did anyway — RIDE115, RIDE117, RIDE118, in whatever order the camera numbered them.

4wd'in

pics of my little 4wd...

stuck in the the 4wd wedged between two trees, not going anywhere trees

my me, mid dig, trying to get a wheel back out of the mud proud mud effort

foolin around with a donut mid-spin, dust everywhere donuts

swapped styles with the sca page on purpose — this page is dated '95 but wears the chunkier '98 look, because a real site's pages never actually update in lockstep. two real survivors here: the bike itself, and me pretending I understood the manual. everything else — the third bike shot, the whole "new bike stuff" set, all three 4wd photos — is a genuine dead link, not a staged one.
