A trading game for 2 players, carved from a single board with no maker's mark. Stones are sown counter-clockwise as in traditional mancala, but this set's forty-eight stones are individually etched, and no two players who've counted them have ever agreed on the total.

Lore
Each stone bears a tiny etched initial, worn almost smooth. We assumed it was a maker's mark until we noticed the initials change depending on who is holding the stone.
Traditional rules say the game ends when one player's store is empty. Ours ends when both players agree to stop counting — which, so far, has always happened before anyone runs out.
“i counted 48 stones before shipping it. buyer says they received 51. i am not going to think about this any further.”
