My Golf Bag
I don't have pro gear (yet) but here's what's actually in my bag right now, plus the stuff I'm saving up for from my paper round money. My dad reckons I don't need new clubs to play better, my dad is wrong.
| Club | Model | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Driver | Hand-me-down metal wood, brand rubbed off | Was my dad's. It slices. |
| Irons | Mixed set, 3-9 | Got them at a garage sale, mostly matching |
| Wedge | No idea, no markings left | Surprisingly good out of bunkers |
| Putter | Cheap mallet putter | My most trusted club, don't ask why |
| Ball | Whatever I find in the rough | Free is a great price |
| Glove | Left hand, going through at the thumb | Duct tape holding it together |
The Wishlist
This is the stuff I'm saving up for. I've got $47 so far from my paper round which is not enough for any of this but I keep the wishlist here anyway for motivation.
- A metal wood driver that doesn't slice
- A matching set of irons (a full matching set, not a garage sale one)
-
Actual golf balls I buy from a shop, in a box, brand new
- A glove that has not been repaired with duct tape
- Spikes for my shoes instead of the trainers I currently wear
If anyone reading this has old clubs they don't want anymore, my email is on the home page. I will take literally anything, even if it's ugly, especially if it's free.
