coffee shop reviews ☆
every cafe i've dragged myself to for the sake of the diary, newest visit first!! see my top 5 for the cream of the crop ♥
moonlit grind
back again bc i can't stay away!! the lavender oat latte is LIFE-CHANGING and the window seat gets the best afternoon light for journaling. staff know my order by heart, 10/10 no notes.
paper crane cafe
went here on a whim during a rainy tuesday and never looked back. their vanilla oat latte is a close second fave and the vibe is SO cozy, all fairy lights and mismatched armchairs. bring a book.
petal & press
new fave alert!! tiny flower-shop-turned-cafe with the prettiest rose latte art i've ever seen. tasted as good as it looked, will be back with my camera fr.
the daily grind co.
docked half a star bc it gets crowded after 9am, but the espresso here is seriously strong and the little heart latte art always makes my day. great for a quick fix before class.
sugar & steam
my "treat yourself" spot — the caramel oat macchiato is basically dessert in a cup. a lil pricey so it's not an everyday cafe but SO worth it for a special occasion.
corner bean house
underrated tbh!! tucked down a side street so it's never packed, and the oat flat white is criminally good. my go-to for studying in peace.
steamwhistle coffee
solid everyday cafe near the train station, good if you need caffeine on the go. oat latte was a touch bitter but the muffins made up for it.
velvet bean
cute outdoor seating but the oat milk went kinda grainy in my latte which was sad bc the vibes were immaculate. might give it one more try.
milk & honey café
fine but forgettable ngl. the honey oat latte was sweet in a good way but service took FOREVER on a slow tuesday afternoon.
the grind house
probably my least fave so far — long wait, and the oat latte came out lukewarm. might've just been an off day but writing it down anyway bc that's the whole point of this diary!!
