The Shelf

Welcome to The Shelf!

Hey, thanks for stopping by!! This is where I keep my whole disc collection, every single one lined up right here for you to look through. Got a bit of everything — JRPGs, detective sims, one really weird one — click a case to flip it over and see what I actually think about each game. Check out the Now Playing page to see what's currently in rotation, and don't forget to sign the Collector's Log before you go! More discs added whenever I actually finish something lol. Enjoy the shelf :)

Every disc in the collection, lined up the way they actually sit. Click a case to flip it over and read the back.

Nier: Automata

Philosophy dressed up as an action game, and it earns every twist in that title.

Nier Replicant

The rougher, sadder original — worth it for how differently the same beats land.

Trails of Cold Steel

Slow-burn academy drama that turns into something much bigger than it lets on early.

Final Fantasy XV

A road trip with your best friends that the story never quite deserved, but the vibes carried it.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The one that basically wrote the rulebook everyone else is still using.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Made "just go anywhere" feel dangerous again for the first time in years.

Dispatch

The real telltale is back baby, season 2 can't come sooner.

Persona 5

All-timer soundtrack, all-timer style, a genuine grind in the back half.

Metaphor: ReFantazio

Persona's DNA wearing full high-fantasy armor, and it mostly works.

Persona 3

The bleakest one of the three, and better for it.

Final Fantasy IX

The one that went back to being unapologetically a fantasy story, no apologies needed.

Lost Odyssey

Underrated hard — the "thousand years of dreams" short stories hit harder than the main plot.

Final Fantasy XVI

Swung hard for action-first and mostly landed it, at the cost of some of the series' identity.

Disco Elysium

Not really like anything else on this shelf — you fight yourself more than anyone else.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Absurd scale for its time, still holds up on a remaster.
