The 1998 Finals against the Utah Jazz ended with Jordan's jump shot over Bryon Russell in Game 6 — his last shot in a Bulls jersey before the front office broke the roster up. It's the single most famous possession in NBA history, and this jersey is what he was wearing.

Why it holds value: unlike the '96 jersey, which represents a whole dominant season, this one is tied to one exact, widely recognised moment. Finals-dated and Game 6-dated pieces carry a documented-provenance premium that a plain regular-season jersey from the same year doesn't get.

Condition notes: because so much of this jersey's value is about the story, authentication paperwork and photo-match evidence to the actual broadcast matter as much as physical condition — a worn but photo-matched piece can outsell a pristine but unverified one.
