Three tools that do one job well and don't ask anything else of you. I open these more than I'd like to admit.

Excalidraw
Excalidraw is a whiteboard that lives in a browser tab and looks hand-drawn on purpose. Nothing saves anywhere unless you tell it to: draw the diagram, export it as a PNG or SVG, close the tab, done. It's the fastest way I've found to turn a five-minute hallway conversation into something I can actually send someone.

Crontab Guru
Crontab Guru takes whatever cron expression you paste in and tells you, in plain English, exactly when it'll run. It exists to solve one problem: nobody can remember what the five fields mean, myself included. One input box, one job, and it hasn't needed to change in years.

RegExr
RegExr tests a regular expression against real text and highlights the matches as you type, and it breaks down what every part of the pattern is actually doing. I still don't have regex syntax memorised, but every time I use this site I understand a bit more of it than I did the last time.
