In Memory of Wong Ka Kui (黃家駒)
On 24 June 1993, while filming a TV show in Tokyo, Wong Ka Kui fell from a stage and suffered a severe head injury. After six days in intensive care, he passed away on 30 June that year, at the age of 31.
He left far too soon, and never got to see his songs still being covered and discovered by new generations of fans decades later. But the words he wrote about dreams, peace and humanity haven't aged a day — perhaps the best thing any musician can leave behind.

Feel free to leave your own story about BEYOND below. This is a purely static page with no backend server and no JavaScript, so your message will be sent through your computer's default email client rather than shown directly on this page — a common guestbook pattern from the early personal-website era.
The guestbook entries below were written by the site author for nostalgic-style demonstration purposes, and are not real visitor submissions.
I hummed along to "Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies" (海闊天空) as a kid without understanding a word of Cantonese. Now that I finally know what the lyrics mean, hearing it again feels completely different.
— A passing fanMy family used to play BEYOND in the car all the time. I thought it was annoying back then — now I realise I remember every word.
— A visitorThank you for the songs that grew up alongside us. This band once existed, and that mattered.
