Update Log

This log records when a record's entry went up on this site, not when I actually bought it — several of these had been sitting on the shelf for years before I got around to writing them up properly. Newest entries at the top.

03 AUG 2003 Added Neutral Milk Hotel — In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, the site's newest entry. A fanzine correspondent's note and a mail-order copy that arrived with the case cracked — see the write-up. 06 JUL 2003 Added Radiohead — OK Computer. Long overdue: I bought this the week it came out back in 1997 and I'm only now getting a proper entry written for it. 12 AUG 2000 Added Daft Punk — Homework, once I'd worked out how to put into words what "Da Funk" did to me over a record-shop sound system. 21 MAY 1999 Added Fishmans — Long Season. A friend mailed me a cassette copy of this one first; the import CD came later and cost far too much in postage. 09 OCT 1998 Added Mariya Takeuchi — Variety, found in a Sydney import shop after weeks of chasing down "Plastic Love." 14 MAR 1998 Site goes online. Back in Black is the first record entry — the vinyl itself had already been on the shelf for years by then.

A note on dates: the "logged" date on each record's page is when the write-up went up here, not when I bought the record — that story is in the entry itself.
