Renata Voss designed SLOP2516 around a single question: what a queue actually measures, once you stop assuming it measures fairness by default. She teaches the odd-numbered weeks — measurement, honest communication, and the final defence — and maintains the Office of Everything’s case file between semesters, adding whichever new memo, complaint or incident report each cohort’s redesign is tested against.
She keeps a running list of every “estimated wait” sign she has personally found unconvincing. The Office of Everything’s is on it.
