Why it is on the list

Most participants disclosed selectively. Many disclosed on application forms or after starting a job, rarely at interview, and many only after problems had arisen. Just over a third rated the impact of telling supervisors and coworkers positively. The authors argue employers should carry more of the responsibility. Week 10’s timing trap comes from the retrospective disclosure finding.
