I built this course because I kept watching sharp people ship genuinely good work and then never actually finish it — a demo that never became a product, a thesis missing its conclusion, a restaurant that nails the food and ignores the bathroom. Including, more than once, me. Twelve weeks, twelve domains, one argument: finishing is a different skill from building, and it’s the one almost everyone is worse at.
What comes to me#
Anything about the course’s shape — a week’s argument, a weighting, an extension decision above a tutor’s discretion — comes to me directly. Anything about a specific lab or Assignment 1 mark should go to Idris or Priya first; I only see those if they’ve already been escalated.
Consultation#
Email for anything that needs a decision before the next session — I read email daily during teaching weeks. For feedback on your own work, use the weekly session instead: it’s faster for you, and it’s the only place I can actually see what you’re stuck on rather than guess at it from a written question.
