The second session, and the first one to run the semester's lecture-then- experiment-then-discussion rhythm for real

This is the second session, and the first to run the shape most weeks will follow from here: come having read that week’s lecture and tried its experiment, then spend the session talking through what the experiment actually showed — and what it didn’t.

Read Week 2’s lecture page and run its interactive experiment before you arrive. Bring the one part of it you’re least sure you read correctly.

Short discussion of what people noticed running Week 2’s experiment — where a badge or an unresolved detail changed what they picked, and where it didn’t — followed by a first look at Assignment 1, which draws on the mechanisms covered across Weeks 2 to 6.

Nothing from this session is submitted or marked on its own. It’s here so the weekly rhythm is established early, before Assignment 1 asks you to work with it more independently.
