Before the tutorial

Bring your Assignment 2 claim — who benefits, and the strongest piece of evidence you have for it — even if the write-up isn’t finished.

In the tutorial

We run this as a courtroom rather than a critique: three minutes to state the claim and its evidence, then two minutes of cross-examination from one classmate before the room weighs in. Each claim has to survive a specific counter-argument, not just general encouragement.

  • you present a claim from your incentive map and the evidence for it
  • you name the one counter-argument most likely to undercut your claim
  • you challenge at least one other student's claim with a specific counter-argument
