Ask during sessions, or email when a question cannot wait until the next one.

Hired as a one-off substitute when a lecturer called in sick during week 4 of a previous offering, and never formally uninvited. Colleagues started calling him Justin Khayse on the basis that he was brought in “just in case,” and it stuck.

Teaches weeks 4, 5 and 11: the toolbelt survey, the live-fire last-minute workflow, and the one week students are asked to do the assignment properly, which he treats as an extended apology for the other two.

Reachable by email between sessions; escalate to the convenor for anything that’s a course-level policy question rather than a mark on specific work.
