Contactable for the two weeks she guests; the convenor holds any question that needs an answer outside that window.

Naledi builds the detection tooling that broadcasters and archives use to flag manipulated video and audio before it airs, which means her working week is mostly spent looking at fakes good enough that a person couldn’t have caught them. She guests for the two weeks where the course’s materials stop being physical: the same questions about technique, tell and provenance turn out to still apply, just moved into pixels.

She’s blunt about the limits of her own field in the room, which is exactly why Petra invited her: a course about fakes that never admits what its own experts can’t yet catch would be telling one.
