Every piece of graded work in the course, what it is worth, and when it is due.

Three pieces, one specimen running through all of them: a checkpoint proving you have a real case, the written case itself, and defending it live.

Specimen Dossier

The first checkpoint — proof you've chosen a workable specimen and gathered enough primary evidence to build a case, before any theory.

Due 19 August 2026 · Weight: 15%

Autopsy Report

The main event — a full written case for why your specimen closed, cross-examined by a peer before it's marked.

Due 21 September 2026 · Weight: 45%

Coroner's Inquest

The capstone presentation — you argue your verdict live and defend it against cross-examination from the room.

Due 19 October 2026 · Weight: 40%
