Before the studio#

No hardware needed — every dump used today comes from a supplied archive, exactly as your own console-platform recovery work will if you choose one.

In the studio#

You’ll be given three archived dumps of the same cartridge, from three different upload sources, with slightly different checksums and provenance notes. The task is to work out which one you’d actually build a recovery on, and defend that choice.
