Professor Trupen has spent more hours staring at flow diagrams — of belts, of pipes, of whatever the previous semester’s cohort broke — than they are comfortable admitting. They convene the course, write and deliver the weekly lectures, and hold the line on what “done” means for a production line: it runs unattended, and it does not jam.
