Idris trained in sound design before moving into interaction design, and still thinks of the seatbelt chime as the most-heard piece of music in the world, badly credited. He runs the weekly studio and teaches week 6, on the sonic register, as the one week where his background is the whole point rather than incidental to it.
Ask during studio for anything about that week’s activity or your work in progress — questions about the audible side of an alert are exactly what studio time is for. Email if it can’t wait until the next one.
