Came to teaching from a support-engineering background — five years reading incident postmortems for a living, which turns out to be most of what auditing a deprecation notice actually is: find the claim, find the evidence, find the gap between them.
Runs weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 12, with a particular interest in the weeks where the pitch’s numbers are true and the argument against the migration has to be made anyway.
Getting help#
Sessions are the fastest way to get a question answered — bring it to the one right after the notice it’s about, while the specifics are still in your head. Email works for anything session timing doesn’t fit, and usually gets a reply within two working days. If a question is really about the course as a whole rather than one week’s marking, it’s worth taking to Marisol instead.
