Stevie tutors the weeks covering time-based effects and the last physical stage of the chain — modulation and delay’s moving, repeating signals, and the speaker and cabinet that finally turn all of it back into air pressure. Stevie also runs the course’s first review session, where everyone’s own recorded sample gets read back as a waveform and spectrum plot for the first time.

Stevie’s own background is in digital signal processing rather than guitar specifically, which turns out to help: questions about why a delay’s feedback path or a cabinet’s frequency response behaves a certain way get answered from the maths first, the guitar-specific consequence second.

Consultation: ask during a session first — most questions about a control on the bench are faster to resolve by looking at it together than by describing it in an email. Email for anything that can’t wait until the next session, or that needs a considered written answer.
