Email for course-level questions; use your weekly Care Lab for feedback on work.

Marisol Quaye convenes Applied Human Cat Care and has taught it since the course’s first offering, after a decade in longitudinal preference modelling that mostly consisted of watching systems forget people gradually and calling it efficiency. Her research asks how an agent keeps its model of a particular person honest across months rather than a single session — this course is that question, taught as a semester.

She writes and delivers the twelve lectures and is responsible for the course’s overall shape, including how the assessment pieces build on one another. Email her about anything that affects the whole course: the syllabus, extensions, and any case your Care Lab tutor cannot resolve alone. Bring feedback on a specific piece of work to your weekly Care Lab instead — that is where it is actually useful.
