Idris spent three years doing fieldwork in hospital waiting rooms and transit hubs before moving into teaching, and still keeps a running list of the worst queues he has personally stood in.
He marks the Field Notes and the Queue Case Study, and reads drafts of the Waiting Experiment brief before it’s submitted if you bring one to a session.
