Week 8 Session: Crit: Grade Your Own Syllabus
A continuous-improvement review of the course's own KPIs — does this syllabus show evidence of impact commensurate with its workload, or merely evidence of activity?
26 April 2027
Before the session#
Reread this course’s own spec pages as an internal stakeholder would. Arrive with a findings statement: where, if anywhere, does Advanced Involution’s own workload trend upward without commensurate evidence of impact on learning outcomes.
In the session#
The room presents findings to the people who deliver the course, in the manner of an accreditation panel. Nothing here changes a mark; it is the closest the semester comes to the method auditing the institution that teaches it.
Afterwards#
Any component identified as a genuine discontinuation candidate is recorded on the record, whether or not it is subsequently discontinued.

What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- you apply Geertz's test as an internal audit instrument against this course's own deliverables, not solely against an external case study
- you can produce a defensible retention/discontinuation recommendation naming one component with evidence of impact and one without
