Counter Lab Portfolio
Build a tested matchup library for one champion and show how repeated lane evidence changes setup and map decisions.
Due: 15 April 2027 · Weight: 40%
The brief#
Turn repeated opponent practice into a matchup library that is useful before, during, and after a real game.
Your portfolio must show breadth and depth. Test at least twelve common lane opponents directly, including four distinct interaction patterns and the three hardest matchups encountered so far. For all other likely lane opponents, provide a provisional plan and a reason for its priority.
What you submit#
- an exported matchup atlas with status, confidence, and last-tested fields;
- six annotated clips, including one failed hypothesis;
- two adaptive setup comparisons;
- one mid-game decision tree derived from lane evidence;
- a 500-word review describing the most important revision.
Entries labelled uncertain are welcome when the next test is specific.
The spec
The brief poses the problem and leaves room for a response. The spec is the fixed part: what a marker checks. Some lines can be checked mechanically; the rest call for judgement.
- at least twelve common lane opponents have direct test records
- every claim links to a clip, log, or controlled exercise
- the portfolio contains a ranked unresolved queue and re-test dates
