About
Roundhouse is an eight-pad drum machine that records you while you play it. Hit a pad with a mouse, a finger, or the keys Q W E R and A S D F: the sound fires straight away and that hit joins a one-bar loop which keeps going round, so a groove builds out of what you played rather than out of something you had to program. Where you land on a pad matters — left to right sets the pitch, top to bottom sets the weight — and the arrow keys move the same aiming crosshair the pointer uses. Pull Speed around while the loop runs, or press Clear to take the pattern back to silence and start again.
