World & view
Each pair of edges (top/bottom, left/right) can Wall, Loop, or stay Open.
Gravity and the play area's own size are adjustable independently of what's on screen.
Scroll to zoom, or use the View buttons; "Fit" reframes the whole play area.
Drag with the middle mouse button to pan — works with any tool active, in Edit or Play. With the Select tool, a plain left-drag on empty background pans too, in either mode.
Simulation
Space
(or the Play button) starts/stops physics. Editing only works while stopped; you can still drop new circles/rectangles while it's running.
A shape flashes and sounds its note whenever it collides with another sound-enabled shape.
Level
Save/Load named levels, or Clear the canvas. A silent autosave keeps your work between visits.
