Study: nine out of ten homepages still say "Under Construction"

A new report from the Web Usability Institute finds that ninety percent of personal homepages currently display an "Under Construction" banner, animated barricade, or both.
Researchers say the remaining ten percent are not actually finished — their authors simply forgot to add the banner. "We found zero homepages that were both complete and willing to admit it," the report concludes.
The Institute recommends leaving the banner up indefinitely, noting that "a site that says it's under construction can never be blamed for being unfinished."
