About (关于)
This is a small teaching prototype built for a university studio course, reimagining Chinese Bazi (八字) fundamentals — the five elements, the ten heavenly stems, and the twelve earthly branches — as a late-1990s Windows desktop application. It swaps a modern reference app for a slower, more deliberate way of reading: no search bar, no animation, no JavaScript at all — just plain HTML and CSS, one gray, beveled window at a time, the way a desktop program actually used to feel.
