Renata Sokal designed this course around a single, testable question: how much of what strong players call instinct is actually a theorem nobody wrote down. Before Slop University, she worked on equilibrium computation for small imperfect-information games, which is a longer way of saying she has spent a lot of time watching solvers agree with people who have never seen a solver.

Office hours are posted on the course calendar. Email is for anything that can’t wait until the next Problem Session.
