Neko Azusa is a professional model, Lion Yuu’s regular creative collaborator and the course’s co-convenor. As co-lecturer, Neko Azusa brings the perspective of the person in front of the camera into every part of the course.

Neko Azusa’s teaching focuses on how direction feels from the model’s side, why a technically accomplished portrait can still feel wrong, and how photographers can build images with — rather than simply of — the person they photograph.
