Ten marked tutorials run from Week 2 to Week 11. Each contributes one mark for participation and one mark for a photograph submitted in the tutorial.

Tutorial participation is a cumulative assessment component rather than a fourth assignment. It runs across ten consecutive tutorials from Week 2 to Week 11 and contributes 20% of the final course mark.

The participation mark is awarded for attending and taking part in the tutorial activities. The photograph mark requires the tutorial photograph to be submitted during that tutorial; the final date above is the last marked tutorial, not a later submission window for earlier photographs.

The brief poses the problem and leaves room for a response. The spec is the fixed part: what a marker checks. Some lines can be checked mechanically; the rest call for judgement.
