The lab where you build a dashboard and then dismantle most of it.

Before the lab#

Build a first bar with every module you are tempted by. Bring it overfull.

In the lab#

You run the full bar for the session, then we go module by module: what did you actually glance at, what belongs behind a keybinding, what was there only because the empty space felt wrong. Anything you cannot defend comes out before you leave.

Afterwards#

You leave with a bar that shows only what you look at, and a note of everything you removed and how much you missed it, which is usually not at all.
