Renn came to the course from conservation, and holds the opposing view to the convenor’s: every generation is a harm, and the job is to stop the chain rather than to read it. He runs the bench in weeks 1 to 6 and will ask you why an experiment needed to be destructive.
The disagreement is not resolved by the teaching team. Week 12 puts it to you.
